In order to strengthen the power in business, the management makes the strategy as “textile for base, multi-fields development”. Considering seriously about the excellent environment for investment, under the direction of “serving the society”, the company mainly focus on 3 fields:

1 Mining

Encouraged by the spirit of struggling, and after an investigation of the mining industry of Botswana and the countries around for 2 years, Daheng Group Botswana (Pty) Ltd decided to enter into the field of “Mining”.
Even though it is a field full of risk, the management is very confident to transform into mineral operation, which is relying on the consideration of the excellent business environment in Botswana.
By now, the company has got more than 30 places for prospecting, and in the second half year of 2008, we succeeded to finish the survey for 2 places, whose results show very bright future.
As the plan of the company, in 2009, we will invest at least 90million Pula more. And in the following 2 years, the total amount for investment will be about 50million USD. Some of the related equipments and the machinery are ready, and 12 experts from China will cooperate with the local geologist. Around 80-120 workers will be engaged in the exploration.

2 “China-Botswana Economic & Trade Cooperation Area”

When developing in a high speed, the company never forgets the responsibility for Botswana economy. In 2007, the company and Botswana government started the “China-Botswana Economic & Trade Cooperation Area” program, and now it’s in proceeding.
This project aims to promote the communication of economy between Botswana and China. Develop the related industry by investment and advanced technology, and also generate plenty of job vacancy.
The first-term program of the whole project is carried on an area of around 1.332 km2. And as the representative of BEDIA in China, Daheng Group never stops the work for economic communication, lots of excellet Chinese enterprises including the related government come to Botswana for investigation. The time it is finished, “China-Botswana Economic & Trade Cooperation Area” will be one of the biggest industrial areas in Botswana.
